Executive Leadership MSN Program

The 37-credit Executive Leadership MSN program prepares nurses for management and executive nursing positions in various health care setting systems. The Executive MSN program is based upon well founded principles, including components of the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet® Recognition Program, The American Organization of Nurse Executive Competencies, and the Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellows Program. The program is an academic partner of the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program.

The curriculum allows students to work full-time while attending graduate school. Students are admitted as a cohort in Spring and Fall semesters. Cohorts progress together, taking two 3-hour courses each semester for five consecutive semesters and graduate in two years. Executive fees ($1540 per semester) are paid in addition to tuition. Fees cover registration, lodging, and travel for two national conferences during the program. Students attend the Magnet® Conference in the fall and the American Organization of Nurse Administrators (AONE) in the spring. Fees also cover all course books and resources, and expenses for twice yearly on-campus Intensives (Fall and Spring semesters).
