The Lichterman-Loewenberg Foundation recently received the Regents Award for Excellence in Philanthropy from the Tennessee Board of Regents for its investment in the University of Memphis. The Foundation’s consistent support of the Loewenberg School of Nursing and recent commitment to our campaign for a new facility is significant and deserves every recognition. Dr. Charles Manning, Chancellor of the Tennessee Board of Regents, presented the award to Frederika and Joel Felt, Betty and William “Skip” Loewenberg, and Joanne Markell. University of Memphis President Shirley C. Raines hosted the recipients, their families, and a few close friends to a reception in her home further honoring their commitment, leadership, and support of the University.
