Bio:

As an accomplished nonprofit administrator, Susan offers experience with a wide range of service delivery organizations.  Her interest in streamlining administrative processes, documenting policies and procedures, and building capacity have made her a valuable partner in helping organizations achieve their goals.

With a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Public Administration from The University of Memphis, Susan offers a strong academic background in areas relevant to nonprofit and government agency development.  Her concentrations during post-graduate study were nonprofit administration and human resource management.  Her coursework was thorough in areas such as policy analysis, technical writing, administrative law, organizational theory, personnel management, resource development, team building, performance evaluation and strategic planning.

Susan has been working with organizations in an independent consulting capacity since the summer of 1999. She is also an adjunct professor and executive director of the undergraduate nonprofit studies program in the Division of Public and Nonprofit Administration at The University of Memphis. Her recent projects include personnel policy and procedure development, strategic planning, performance evaluation system design, program evaluation and training curriculum development.
