The Division of Public and Nonprofit Administration prepares public service and nonprofit
professionals with the knowledge and skills to face today’s challenges and tomorrow’s
opportunities.
Academic Programs
Master of Public Administration degree program offers two concentrations:
- Nonprofit Administration
- Public Management and Policy
Undergraduate Nonprofit Management Minor - The Division offers an interdisciplinary minor in Nonprofit Management which includes
courses that address competencies necessary for work in nonprofit organizations.
Undergraduate Minor in Public Administration - The Division offers an interdisciplinary minor in Public Administration which includes
courses necessary to prepare students for work in government agencies.
American Humanics Nonprofit Management Certificate - This Division offers a nationally accredited certificate which is an important
part of the Division's leadership development curriculum.
Fire Services Program - DPNA assists the University College in offering undergraduate public administration
courses as a part of the Open Learning Fire Services (OLFS) Program. Students earn
the Bachelor of Professional Studies Degree in Fire Administration or Fire Prevention
Technology through the University College. Contact the University College for more

Graduate Certificate in Local Government Management - This program is for individuals who desire to increase their knowledge of important
issues and approaches utilized in local government administration.
