Research and Teaching

Matt's principle areas of interest are Husserl's phenomenology and the criticisms and developments of Husserlian phenomenology by contemporary French philosophers. The specific area of research he is exploring within phenomenology concerns a phenomenological ontology. He is also interested in ancient philosophy and the philosophy of Aristotle in particular.
