Research and Teaching

Nicolás' interests range widely over phenomenology, especially phenomenology of aesthetic, ethical, and religious experience. He is working on his PhD dissertation, provisionally entitled Instituting the Other's Dignity: A Study on the Genealogy of Moral Concepts. In addition to his regular introductory course on contemporary analytic and continental ethics, he will be teaching a course on the philosophy and phenomenology of religious experience in spring 2010.
