| D.J.'s philosophical interests lie mainly in the application of continental thought
to metaethical questions, as well as in 19th-century philosophy generally, with a
particular focus on Nietzsche and Kierkegaard, among others. He is especially interested
in the way these thinkers address ethical choice at the level of the individual.
