Research and Teaching

Dan’s main philosophical interests are equally divided between ancient Greek philosophy and 20th-century continental philosophy. From this foundation, topics of particular interest include discussions pertaining to the specific roles that art and technology play within the development of culture and thought, as well as the concepts of love and madness. He is increasingly interested in ethics and political philosophy. Further, he recently discovered a newfound passion for racquetball, and, before he receives his degree, he vows to go skydiving.
