Santiago’s primary interests are in the relationship between the state, the legal subject and the non-legal subject. More precisely, he is interested in the normalizing apparatuses towards legal subjects and non-legal subjects, with a strong focus on figures like Locke, Sartre, and Foucault. Santiago also has interests in philosophy of the self, action theory, and phenomenology.
