During this talk, I will give an overview of the Missile Defense, and its pertaining difficult physics problems in order to make it a reality. I will
discuss a number of technical concepts as well as efforts that I have initiated during
the years towards Missile Defense. In particular, I will discuss how did these programs
have found homes in the commercial markets and how they have made our lives better.
Finally, I will present few physics-based specific efforts that I am currently involved
in with various universities in the areas of energetic materials, guidance, control.
