Abstract proposals will be reviewed by the host committee. Accepted proposals will be grouped into sessions of 3 to 5 presenters with similar topics. Organize a Panel Session:

Individuals may work with colleagues to organize a panel session on a topic relevant to the conference theme and the purpose of the Planners Network. Those wishing to organize a panel should submit a proposal that includes a short session title and description of the session topic (not to exceed 300 words). Session organizers must also identify the session participants, including a moderator, and submit abstracts for the individual presentations that will be included in the session. (3-5 presentations, with abstracts of 500 words or less).

Present a Poster:

Individuals may also propose a poster that describes recent or ongoing planning efforts or research relevant to the conference theme or to the Planners Network. Each poster should feature a clearly articulated theme, describe the core of the planning research or practice being conducted, summarize outcomes, and offer tentative lessons learned. The poster should identify the professional planners, local officials, and citizen activists involved in the case and provide contact information. Those interested in presenting a poster should submit a summary of the information described above for review by the host committee. Accepted posters should be 30" by 40".

Include the term "PN submission" in the email subject line. All submissions must include author(s) names, titles, and affiliations (name of your organization or university).

There are no fees for submitting a proposal, however if your proposal is accepted, you must register and pay the appropriate registration fee.
