UofM and ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Collaborate on New Courses
I am pleased to announce that the University of Memphis has partnered with another leading national organization, ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The partnership will allow us to create new courses focused on philanthropy and nonprofit administration.
This is a great opportunity for the Department of Public and Nonprofit Administration and the University to increase our national and international presences, provide online learning opportunities for the philanthropy and nonprofit sector, and provide our students with opportunities to learn from and work with a world-class organization. The University is also working to identify internship opportunities at the Memphis headquarters of ALSAC to allow UofM students to learn more about how the organization operates.
I invite you to read the complete press release here.
