John M. Amis

Dr. Amis has established himself as one of the top professors in his department. He teaches large classes, small classes at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Across all of these course levels, his quantitative evaluations have been well above course, departmental, and Fogelman College of Business and Economics averages. His student evaluations indicate that he is prepared, shows concern for whether the students learn, and is personable and approachable. Typical responses from the students on his teaching evaluations say things such as “he provides an awesome learning experience,” and “It is great having a professor who really cares about a student learning.”
