Distinguished Teaching Award Dr. Randy Floyd
The Distinguished Teaching Award goes to Dr. Randy Floyd, Department of Psychology.
Dr. Floyd, who joined the U of M faculty in 2001, teaches courses in psychological
and educational assessment. “Randy is a superb teacher, and coordinates very challenging
courses while keeping students eager and motivated to learn,” says Psychology Chairman
Dr. Art Graesser. “His empathy toward the problems students experience helps them
achieve much more from the course.” A graduate of Hendrix College , Floyd earned master's
and doctoral degrees from Indiana State University.
