Distinguished Teaching Award
Monika Nenon

Nenon has taught German language, literature and culture for 14 years. “She has done an excellent job in developing the business German track, particularly the IMBA program and our annual business language workshop,” writes Dr. Ralph Albanese, chairman of Foreign Languages and Literatures. “Students at the elementary level praise her for her patience, her consideration, and her ability to make German relevant. Students in other courses appreciate her excellent communicative approach, her willingness to help at all times, and her ability to explain things clearly. In addition to her good humor, they like the fact that she is open to controversial views and numerous critical perspectives.”
