Ann advises the Provost concerning College policies, procedures and actions and acts for and on behalf of the Provost in providing policy and procedure direction to the vice-provosts, deans, administrative personnel, etc. Ann represents the Provost in meetings within and outside of the College and has secondary responsibility for management of the Provost's annual budget.

The Director of Academic Affairs Administration also maintains a liaison relationship with the President's Office and with the President in the absence of the Provost; maintains a liaison relationship with the Vice Presidents, Vice-Provosts, Deans, Chairs, and with other administrative personnel within the University.
