PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE TWO STEPS FOR A COMPLETE APPLICATION

Step 1: Apply to the University of Memphis Graduate School

You will need:

• Completed application
• Non-refundable fee ($35 domestic, $60 international)
• Official transcripts
• Official test scores - GRE (TOEFL if applicable)

Graduate Admissions Application deadlines do not coincide with the Psychology Department's deadlines which may cause some confusion. Please be aware that we must receive notification from Graduate Admissions that you have submitted all university application materials in order for your department application to be considered complete.

Step 2: Apply to the Department of Psychology

You will need:

University of Memphis Graduate school application from Step 1. The University's Graduate School will send your application to the Psychology Department after you have completed it.

• Non-refundable fee ($15 - made payable to - The University of Memphis-Dept. of Psychology) Send to: Graduate Secretary, Department of Psychology, University of Memphis, Memphis, TN 38152
• Transcript (transcripts must be sent to both the University Graduate School and Psychology Department)
• GRE test scores (scores must be sent to both the University Graduate School and Psychology Department using ETS codes 1459 for the University and 2016 for the Psychology Department)
• 3 letters of recommendation - Each applicant must submit 3 letters of recommendation with his/her application. There are no required forms, but there are two methods for submitting letters. They may be included with departmental application materials in a sealed envelope as long as the flap has been signed by the recommender. Alternatively, letters may be sent separately by the recommender. Please note that regardless of the option chosen, applicants are responsible for insuring all letters are submitted by the application deadline. • Psychology Application

Please note that your application to the Department of Psychology will not be processed until all components of your application have been completed (including the University of Memphis Graduate School Application).

• M.S./Ph.D. Clinical Psychology December 5
• M.S./Ph.D. Experimental Psychology January 15
• M.S./Ph.D. School Psychology January 15
• M.S. General Psychology May 15
• M.A./Ed.S. School Psychology June 15
