You will need:

• Completed application
• Non-refundable fee ($35 domestic, $60 international)
• Official transcripts
• Official test scores - GRE (TOEFL if applicable)

Graduate Admissions Application deadlines do not coincide with the Psychology Department's deadlines which may cause some confusion. Please be aware that we must receive notification from Graduate Admissions that you have submitted all university application materials in order for your department application to be considered complete.

Step 2: Apply to the Department of Psychology

You will need:

University of Memphis Graduate school application from Step 1. The University's Graduate School will send your application to the Psychology Department after you have completed it.

• Transcript (transcripts must be sent to the University Graduate School - applicants who have received their undergraduate degree from the University of Memphis should submit an unofficial undergraduate transcript which can be found on Spectrum.) The address is -

• Each applicant must have three letters of recommendation submitted. When an applicant fills out the department graduate application, e-mails are sent to three recommenders that the applicant has listed on the form with instructions for submitting a letter. Letters must be submitted within 10 days of the application deadline.
• Complete Psychology Application

Please note: Your application to the Department of Psychology will not be processed until all components of your application have been completed (including the University of Memphis Graduate School Application).
