Biographical Sketch

Lindsey Gilbert graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Memphis in 2011. She is currently in her second year of the Master of Science in General Psychology program at the University of Memphis. Her research interests include prevention strategies and interventions for alcohol and drug abuse in young adult and college student populations. In the HABIT lab, Lindsey works as a research assistant and interventionist for various projects. She is currently working on her thesis focusing on behavioral economics, social capital, and the potential feasibility of manipulating next-day responsibilities in college students as a prevention measure for heavy episodic drinking.
