Biographical Sketch
Courtney Peasant received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Florida
A&M University in May of 2008. She is currently a fourth year student in the Clinical
Psychology Doctoral program in the Clinical Health research area. Her research interests
include examining correlates of risky sexual behavior and, relatedly, the prevention
and management of sexually transmitted infections. Her thesis examined predictors
of substance use in African American children and adolescents. Courtney' midpoint
project focuses on predictors of condom negotiation.
