Biographical Sketch
Ali Yurasek received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in Psychology
from Marietta College in May of 2007 and 2008, respectively. She is currently a fourth
year student in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral program in the Clinical Health research
area. Her research interests include substance abuse, behavioral economics, risky
health behaviors, and ethnic differences in treatment response. In the HABIT lab,
Ali has acted as an interventionist in various alcohol interventions and is involved
in ongoing research projects. Her thesis examined predictors of alcohol abuse in college
students and she is currently working on her midpoint project focusing on smoking
cessation strategies utilized by adolescents.
