Prolific Professor

Dr. Roger Azevedo, associate professor, was identified by a group of graduate students at The University of Texas, Austin as being the ninth most productive writer in the top five educational psychology journals. The group, led by Dr. Daniel Robinson in the Department of Educational Psychology, conducted a productivity study of five top educational psychology journals published from 2003 to 2008.

Dr. Azevedo, who came to The University of Memphis in 2006, has also written two book chapters and numerous conference proceedings, technical research reports and grant proposals. He earned a Ph.D. in educational psychology from McGill University in Montreal. He was assistant professor in the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences at the University of Maryland prior to coming to U of M.
