Floyd Honored

The Editorial Advisory Board for the School Psychology Review honored Dr. Randy Floyd as the winner of the 2008 Editorial Appreciation Award at the convention of the National Association of School Psychologists held in Boston in February. The journal has the largest circulation of any school psychology publication, with about 30,000 subscribers.

In announcing the award, the SPR editor said that Floyd was “extremely worthy of this honor, not only for his excellent contributions during the past year but also for the outstanding service he has rendered to the journal and the profession for the past several years.”

Floyd joined the School Psychology program in 2001 and teaches graduate courses focusing on the assessment of children. He received his Ph.D. from Indiana State University with a subspecialization in clinical child psychology.
