Professor Joins Behavioral Neuroscience Area

Dr. Helen Sable has joined the faculty in the Behavioral Neuroscience area. She is the PI for a $927,000 NIH grant titled "Assessment of Psychostimulant Addiction Risk Following Developmental PCB Exposure."

Sable is a member of Neurobehavioral Teratology Society, Research Society on Alcoholism, Society for Neuroscience, and Society of Toxicology.

She received her B.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Wisconsin and her M.S. from Kansas State University. Her last position was in the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
