Faculty associated with UMCORE have worked on projects related to grants and contracts with public and private sector organizations. Some examples of current and recent projects completed by our faculty include:

• John Amis is the Principal Investigator on a $204,000 grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (Active Living Research) to study State-level policy responses to the childhood obesity crisis.
• Ron Landis was the Principal Investigator on $150,000 contract with Naval Personnel Research, Studies, and Technology (NPRST) to study how individual personality characteristics impact the effectiveness of work teams.
