Need Job Advice? Attend a Career Workshop in Jackson April 14 University News

Are you looking for career assistance? Considering a job change? Thinking about pursuing a college degree to enhance your job prospects?  Then you’ll want to attend the University of Memphis Jackson Center’s Career Self-Discovery Workshop on Tuesday, April 14, at the Jackson Chamber of Commerce, 197 Auditorium Street.

There are two sessions to choose from, 1:30-3:30 p.m. and 5:30-7:30 p.m. Registration begins at 1 p.m. for the afternoon session and at 5 p.m. for the evening session.

Admission is free, but space is limited. Early registration is encouraged.

On-site registration will be available as space allows.

Experts will be on hand to share information on educational and career options. Participants will gain an insight into a career path that is right for them and design an action plan to help achieve their career goals.

The workshop is sponsored by the University of Memphis, The Jackson Sun, the Jackson Chamber of Commerce, and the Jackson Energy Authority.
