St. Jude Will Co-Host Mid-South Regional Export Control Conference at U of M University News

St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital’s Office of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs will co- host Export Controls: Assessing Your Risks with the regional office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the FedEx Institute of Technology at the University of Memphis. 

Speakers from the Office of Export Enforcement, the Centers for Disease Control, and the FBI will present an overview of export control. They will address common issues in the management of select agents, sensitive technologies, deemed exports, and overseas travel.

In addition, there will be a special focus on the foreign intelligence threat to emerging technologies.

The conference will be held on Friday, July 25th.  The conference will begin at 9 a.m. in the Methodist Theater at the FedEx Institute, 335 Innovation Drive, on the U of M campus.
