The University of Memphis will host its fifth annual Off-Campus Housing Information
Fair on Wednesday, March 26, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Michael Rose Theatre on
the U of M campus. Admission is free, and door prizes will be awarded.
The event is sponsored by Adult and Commuter Student Services, which provides campus
and community resources and services to non-traditional and traditional-age commuter
students (students who do not live in University-owned housing).
The Fair will provide students, faculty, and staff with information about various
off-campus housing options and services in the community. They are invited to speak
personally with representatives from local housing and apartment properties and with
other related vendors about amenities, services and specials.

In conjunction with the Off-Campus Housing Information Fair, Adult and Commuter Student
Services will present a training seminar, “Keys to Successful Apartment Living," on
Monday, March 17, 10:20-11:15 a.m. in Room 220 (the multipurpose room) of Brister
Hall on the U of M campus. The seminar will focus on topics such as tenant rights
and responsibilities, lease agreements, what to look for during your housing search,
and other subjects pertaining to off-campus housing.
Facilitating the seminar will be Michele Harris, residential development manager at
Crye-Leike Property Management. Refreshments will be provided.
