Dr. Paul E. Fitzgerald Jr. was a leader and mainstay of the Master of Health Administration
program at the University of Memphis. After his death in November 2006, a scholarship

To support that scholarship, current MHA students, alumni, members of the local healthcare
community, and friends of Fitzgerald and his family are hosting the First Annual Dr.
Paul E. Fitzgerald Jr. Memorial Golf Classic.
The tournament will be held Monday, April 14, at The Club at North Creek, 8770 North
Creek Boulevard, Southaven, Miss. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m.; after lunch
is served, the shotgun start will begin at 1 p.m.
Registration must be received no later than March 31. Details about registration are
available from Padma Pillai at Methodist Health Care by phone at 901-516-2232 or via
email at PillaiP@methodisthealth.org
Registration is $125 for an individual golfer; team registration is $450. Sponsorship
opportunities are also available. That information is also available from Padma Pillai.
Prizes will be awarded. Snacks and beverages will be served throughout the event.
The tournament is limited to 30 teams.
