Dr. Vithala Rao Will Discuss Global Pricing Strategies March 21For release: March 12, 2008 For press information, contact Gabrielle Maxey Dr. Vithala R. Rao of Cornell University will be the inaugural speaker in the Fogelman College of Business & Economics' 2008 Distinguished Speaker Series. He will discuss global pricing strategies on Friday, March 21, at 7:30 a.m. at the University Holiday Inn, 3700 Central Avenue. Rao is the Deane W. Malott Professor of Management at Cornell's Johnson Graduate School of Management. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business. His interests include the development and application of analytical models for marketing research and marketing strategy. Rao's publications have covered such topics as dynamic pricing, product positioning, and product design brand equality. Admission to the breakfast will cost $25 and can be paid at the door.
