Jeff Corwin will share his passion for animal and environmental conservation during
an interactive program at the University of Memphis. He will present “Tales from the
Field” on Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 6:30 p.m. in the Michael D. Rose Theatre. A book-signing
The program is free and open to the public. Parking is available in the Zach Curlin
garage adjacent to the Rose Theatre.
Corwin will feature live reptiles as part of the show, and will invite audience members
to come onstage to interact with the menagerie.
Corwin has been an advocate for the environment and conservation since he was a child.
The Emmy Award-winner first gained fame for his many Animal Planet shows, including
the Jeff Corwin Experience and Corwin’s Quest, and has since moved on to ventures such as CNN’s Planet in Peril, co-hosted with Anderson Cooper, and Extreme Cuisine with Jeff Corwin, airing on Food Network.
With his new 100 Heartbeats project, a critically acclaimed book, and popular NBC
documentary, Corwin takes on the world’s extinction crisis and helps audiences understand
what they can do to make a difference in the world. His television work has led Men’s Health to recognize him as the world’s greatest host of a natural history series.
