Jackson-area Reception Oct. 27 Will Feature the University of Memphis

Students and their families who are interested in learning more about the University of Memphis are invited to a recruitment reception on Monday, Oct. 27, at the Carnegie Center for the Arts, 303 East College Street, in Jackson. The reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. and is expected to last until about 8:30 p.m.
The event is geared toward high school juniors and seniors and transfer students. University representatives will discuss the admissions process, financial aid and scholarships, academic programs, honors programs, residence life, student organizations, student services, and other aspects of life at the U of M.
The reception is free, but reservations are encouraged and should be made by Monday, Oct. 20, either by phone toll-free at 800-669-2678 or online at http://recruitment.memphis.edu
Other receptions in West Tennessee are set for Oct. 29 in Union City, Nov. 3 in Covington, and Nov. 4 in Dyersburg.
