Betty Huff Named to Lead Enrollment Services at U of M University News

The University of Memphis has appointed Betty Huff as vice provost of Enrollment Services.

Huff has a background in complex and uniquely different institutions of higher education. Among her roles, she served as acting dean and associate dean of students at the University of New Orleans, registrar at the University of Kentucky, and for the past 10 years assistant vice chancellor for enrollment services and management at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Huff is the recipient of numerous professional honors and awards. She is active in the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO) and currently serves as president-elect of AACRAO’s board of directors.

Huff was selected as a Fulbright scholar in 1994.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of South Alabama and a master’s degree in education from the University of Georgia. She has completed all but a dissertation for a doctorate in public administration at Georgia.
