Are you TRUE BLUE? Show your Tiger pride by participating in the Fourth Annual True
Blue 5K, brought to you by First Tennessee and the U of M Young Alumni Committee.
The race will take place on the night of Friday, November 5, 2010. Proceeds from the
race will benefit the Young Alumni Committee and its work to fund the newly established
Young Alumni Legacy Scholarship for U of M graduate students.
Runners and walkers will enjoy a MRTC-certified race course that takes them through
the University of Memphis campus on beautiful fall evening race. The U of M Mighty
Sound of the South will be on hand with the Tiger Cheerleaders to get the night started
off in True Blue style and runners will cross the finish line to enjoy music, food,
Tiger spirit and an awards ceremony featuring special “Tiger” guests. Race awards
will include individual winners in several traditional categories, a Tiger Spirit
Award for the most spirited Tiger Runner, an award for the largest registered community
group/organization participation, and a special award for the largest participating
student/on campus organization, with a $250 prize given to the winning team’s charity
of choice.
University of Memphis students, alumni and all Tiger fans are invited to participate

members, students, and staff receive a $2 discount.
Race Day Registration and packet pick up will be held from 5:45-6:45 pm on Friday,
November 5 in front of the University Center, on the Alumni Lawn. Parking will be
available in the Southern Avenue lot across from the registration area or in the Zach
Curlin Parking Garage.
This year’s title sponsor for the race is First Tennessee Bank. Other sponsors include
Allied Waste Services, ATC Fitness, Nesvick Trading Group, Woodland Tree Services,
Memphis Orthopedic Group, Stryker, U.S. Foodservice, Chick Fil A, Mahaffey Tent &
Party Rentals, and Memphis Sport Magazine.
