The first full week of October, Oct. 6-10, is Domestic Violence Week, a time to spotlight
the prevalence of domestic violence in America and to explore ways to deal with and
overcome domestic violence. The University of Memphis Student Activities Council is
sponsoring a series of events that week to give the campus and community a better
understanding of this serious issue. Students, faculty, staff, and the public are
invited to attend. All events are free of charge.
The calendar includes:
Monday, Oct. 6, through Friday, Oct. 10 - The Clothesline Project, with T-shirt displays in the rotunda of the Ned R. McWherter
