The Office of Research Support Services (RSS) at the University of Memphis assists faculty and staff with the development of proposals to obtain research funding through externally sponsored programs. With a strong history of working with investigators to obtain funding from both public and private sources, the RSS staff is committed to furthering the University’s mission as a great metropolitan research university.

Grants and contracts obtained from a range of funding sources enables the University’s investigators to  conduct cutting-edge research. From biomedical and computational sciences, learning technologies, and education and criminal justice reform to groundwater and earthquake studies and autism research, the RSS staff provides the resources that faculty require to be successful in today’s competitive research environment.
