Telephone Service
Local telephone service is provided to each room; however, students must provide their
own telephones. After arriving to campus, long distance service may be purchase from
The University of Memphis. Residents may make arrangements with the Telecommunications
Department of The University of Memphis after they arrive on Campus. Contact #: 678-2999.
Telephones are not provided in the Living Learning Residence Complex.
Mail Service
Mail boxes for residents may be rented by contacting Mail Services which is located
in the University Center. Mail may be addressed to students in the following manner:

Students are responsible for complying with the rules and regulations and use of motor
vehicles on University controlled property. All vehicles must have a parking permit
visibly hanging from the rear-view mirror. Special residence hall parking permits
can be bought from parking services. Please contact Parking Service for details on
pricing and dates of sale..
A copy of all parking regulations is available from the Parking Office. Parking Services
is located at 120 Zach Curlin Parking Garage, is open: 7 a.m.-6 p.m. (Monday-Thursday)
with no permit sales after 5:00 p.m. and 7 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (Friday) with no permit

Health Service
The University of Memphis Health Center is staffed with full-time, professional personnel.
The Health Center is open 8 am - 6 pm, Monday through Friday during the fall and spring
semesters and 8 am - 4:30pm during summer sessions.
It is not necessary to make an appointment in advance. Visits are free; however, prescriptions,
special test, or screenings are at the student's expense. Contact #: 678-2287
Cable Television
Basic cable-type television is connected to each resident's room at no additional
charge.
Residence Life and Dining Services also offers The Residence Life Channel. This channel
plays 20 movies a month (chosen by the students in the Residence Hall Association)
along with bulletins and information about upcoming programs.
Computer Services/RESNet Service Center
Residence Life and Dining Services have professionally trained computer service technicians
and supervised graduate/student service technicians.
This service is available only to residents of The University of Memphis. This also
covers installation of computer virus protection and cleaning of Internet Virus's/Spyware/Malware
from laptops/computers. This service is covered by the contract between the resident
and The University of Memphis Residence Life and Dining Services.
ResNet provides assistance/consultation with limited hardware and software installations
