Study/Quiet Floors

The purpose of the Study Quiet Area is to provide an atmosphere which is more conductive to studying than the average residence hall floor:

  1. Quiet hours are 24 hours a day 7 days a week
  2. During quiet hours, sound levels should not be audible outside of resident's room
  3. Visitation policies in Study Quiet Areas will be consistent with the rest of the building in which the floors is located.

The following areas have been designated as Study Quiet Areas:

  • Mynders Hall- 3rd Floor
  • Rawls Hall- 1st Floor
  • Richardson Towers North and South- 9th & 10th Floors

    • Quiet Zone located in the Blue Zone (8 pm - 10 pm) (First Floor)
