The Mississippi River Project
Mississippi River Project: Day 16 river

Today we were waiting on Andrew to arrive.  It would not be until later this evening.  So in the meantime, we went to the Strong to prepare the compressor for Andrew by disconnecting the numerous valves and ports and finally removing the pump.  The two graduate students, Leah Mitchell and Michael Towle, took measurements of the Strong and positioning of the equipment.  These tasks carried us through lunch.

Afterwards we retired to Dyersburg.  We spent the remainder of our afternoon together at the poolside at the Best Western.  It was nice to relax.

Andrew and his son, Josh, made it to Dyersburg around 8 or 9 this evening.  They were tired and we knew we had a long day ahead of us.  We all went to sleep.
