Navigation
In line with the structure of the SACS Principles of Accreditation, the UofM Compliance Certification site is organized around the three types of standards: Core Requirements, Comprehensive Standards and Federal Mandates. Clicking on one of these three links will display all of the standards within that category.
All three categories of standards, along with links to the UofM SACS Home page and Compliance Home page, will remain accessible at the left of each viewing screen as the reader selects different standards.
References
The references that substantiate the UofM’s responses to the standards are listed at the end of each narrative and in the Document Directory. The reference numbers in the narrative are hyperlinked. Clicking on a numbered reference will jump to that reference document at the end of the narrative.
Clicking on a hyperlinked document title will open that reference document in a new window. Once the viewer is finished with the reference document he or she can simply close that window and return to his or her place in the compliance certification document by clicking ‘back to narrative.’
All reference documents and web sites are static. That is, they have been captured at a particular time. In some cases, two versions of the references have been provided: the frozen reference document, captured at a specific point in time, and a link to the live www site.
How to Use PDF Files
All of the electronic documents within the certification are either HTML or PDF files. The PDF files can be oriented to fit the browser screen. The user can zoom in or zoom out to read the material by clicking on View on the toolbar across the top of the screen.
