The University of Memphis requires that a minimum of 25% of the credit hours applied to degree requirements must be earned at the UofM. [1]
Students' transcripts are examined by graduation analysts in each college or school during a "check out" process. Included in this review is a determination that 25% of the credit hours earned have been earned at UofM.
Students with deficiencies are informed during a graduation check out appointment. The transcripts are examined again during graduation certification to make certain that each student has satisfied the 25% credit-hour requirement.
Students can also access a degree audit on-line, which displays both the courses that have been completed and those that remain for the declared major. [2] Included in the degree audit is a statement that informs students when they have successfully completed 25% of the credit hours for their degree at the UofM.
