Students Advocating Service (SAS) is a student organization that provides community service opportunities
to the University of Memphis community. SAS sponsors such programs as Service on
Saturday, Tutoring programs, and weekly service initiatives.

Membership
SAS membership is free and open to anyone and everyone interested in helping to organize
community service opportunities for others. (You do not have to join SAS to participate in the projects and programs.)
Membership meetings take place every-other Monday at 4p.m.
Upon joining SAS, you may also join one or several of our committees. Committees
meet as follows:
Hunger & Homelessness committee: Mondays 3pm UC 208 Membership & Fundraising committee: last Friday of month 2pm UC 212 Service on Saturday committee: every other Tues. 3pm UC Invlvmnt Zone Tutoring Committee: every other Monday 1pm UC Involvement Zone
