Directions for Using the SETE Website

How do I access the SETE website?

1.  Open a browser and type the following URL in the address line: https://umwa.memphis.edu/seteReports/setelogin.php

2.  You will be given a login prompt (screenshot).

3.  Enter your UUID in the User name text box (your UUID is the first part of your university email before the @ sign, e.g., your UUID@memphis.edu), your password in the Password text box (the password to access email), and click OK.


What's the next step after the login prompt?

1.  If you are a regular faculty member, the term selection page will appear after you log in (screenshot).

2.  Select the appropriate year and semester and click Submit.
If you have taught any courses for the selected year and semester, you will see the course listing page (screenshot).

3.  If you have not taught any courses for the specified year and semester, no SETE reports will be found (screenshot).

4.  Click the link. The report will open in a new browser window. (Problems? You may not have the required Adobe Reader installed on your computer. If you are unable to view the reports, click here to download Adobe Reader for free.)

Example: To view the SETE report for Accountancy, click on the link PHIL1102004. The SETE report will be displayed in a new window (screenshot).


I'm an administrator. What am I able to view?

1.  If you are an administrator (someone from the provost's office/dean or chair of a department) you will see the window that allows you to select a department, year, and semester (screenshot).

If you are from the Provost's office, all the departments in the University will be displayed in the "Please select the department" dropdown. If you are a dean/chair of a particular college, only departments under your college will be displayed in the "Please select the department" dropdown.

2.  Select a department, year and a semester from the three dropdowns which appear on the page and click Submit. (We have data back to Spring 2004).

Example: To view the SETE reports for faculty from Electrical Engineering for Spring 2004 the selections on the page will appear as follows (screenshot).

3.  The next page will show if there are any faculty members listed for that particular department for the specified year and semester (screenshot).

4.  If you have a dropdown list, you can select a faculty member whose SETE reports you desire to view and click Submit.

Example: If you select Dr.Philip Lim from the dropdown list, the page will appear as follows (screenshot).

5.  If the selected faculty member has taught any courses for the specified year and semester, the page which contains the course information along with a link to the SETE Report will be displayed (screenshot).

6.  If the selected faculty member has not taught any courses for the specified year and semester, the page will show that there are no SETE reports (screenshot).

7.  To view the SETE Report, click the link, which will open the report in a new browser window. (Problems? You may not have the required Adobe Reader installed on your computer. If you are unable to view the reports, click here to download Adobe Reader for free.)

Example: To view the SETE Report for Dr.Philip Lim for the course Electricl Power Systems, click on the link EECE4202001. The SETE Report will be displayed in a new window (screenshot).
