Self-Advising Process

Students must meet all the following criteria to qualify for self-advising:

  • You must have a declared major in the School of Health Studies.
  • You must be in good academic standing (no academic warning or probation).
  • You must have a minimum overall GPA of a 2.25.

Students who meet any one of the following cannot self-advise:

  • Student athletes.
  • Graduating seniors.
  • Students who are newly transferred to the School of Health Studies.

Students who do not qualify for self-advising must schedule an advising appointment on SSC Campus or by calling 901.678.4316.
