1. Analyzing Speech Production Capabilities of Individuals with Severe Hearing Loss

In this study participants’ voices are recorded while reading prepared passages. The recorded speech is used to design special computer components to help improve the performance of digital hearing devices such as cochlear implants.  For more information click here.

Compensation is provided if you qualify for participation in the study.

2. Speech Understanding Using Surgical Masks

In this study participants are asked to repeat sentences in response to prerecorded voices and video images presented by people wearing different types of surgical masks.   For more information click here.
