If you meet the First Scholars® requirements, then complete the following steps to apply!

STEP 1
Apply to the U of M at http://www.memphis.edu/admissions/apply.htm

STEP 2
Complete your FAFSA by February 1, 2013.

STEP 3
Complete a First Scholars® application by February 1, 2013.  (You MUST be admitted to the University before applying to the First Scholars® Program).

STEP 4
You will be asked to take the Student Strengths InventoryTM (SSI), a non-academic assessment of your potential for success. (Information about accessing the SSI will be provided after your completed application packet is received and reviewed.)

Scholarship recipients will be selected based on our eligibility criteria and the results of the SSI assessment. If you’re selected, First Scholars® will work with you to create, and help you follow, your First Scholars® individualized strategic plan to maximize your success in college.
