To participate in the TRIO STEM program, you must be first admitted and/or enrolled at The University of Memphis and majoring in a STEM field.  In addition, you must be a U.S. Citizen or a permanent resident and meet at least one of the following criteria:

• First-Generation Student: Neither custodial parent/guardian graduated from a four year college or university.
• Low-Income: Eligible for financial aid at a level established by the Department of Education.
• A Student with a Disability: You must be registered with Student Disability Services.

If you meet any of these criteria, you may be eligible for participation in Student Success Programs.  Please pick up an application from the SSP front desk at 405 Mitchell Hall or click on the following link: TRIO Stem Application.  Completed applications should be returned to 405 Mitchell Hall.
