1. Meeting called to order at 9:33 a.m.

3. Approval of minutes was delayed.

4.       Finance Committee: Larry Mayes - $3,582.13

Election Committee: Pam Cash - The election results were distributed (for a complete list please see the Staff Senate's web page.) New members will be sworn in at the August meeting and officers will be elected at the September meeting.

AD-Hoc Bylaws Committee: Diane Cooper - None

Issues Review Committee: Diane Cooper - None

Standing Committees:

Traffic/Parking Authority: Michelle Stout - The parking on the Patterson and Zach Curlin will be eliminated August 15, 1999. They are adding a turning lane.

Safety Committee: Richard Jones - None

Facilities and Services Com.: Janet Mitchell - None

Bookstore Committee: Carolyn Zoccola - None

Food Services Committee: Patty Simonton - None

Public Records: Need a Volunteer

Fee Refunds & Appeals: Joanne Lippy - None

5. President's Remarks
Sherry Crone was asked to give a report from the budget hearings, which she attended on behalf of the Staff Senate. Enrollment is looking good.
6. Old Business
The Health Center is again seeing Faculty and Staff, but will not see any Workman Compensation injuries. Anyone with a Workman Compensation claim should contact Patricia Ehrlich in Human Resources. The question was raised to whether the Health Center see Graduate students.
7. New Business

A question was raised concerning a Clean Campus Campaign, as to whether or not the University would have one like they had once before. Pam Cash informed the group that Calvin Strong, Physical Plant, is constructing such a group through the Business and Finance Focus for Excellence Program. There should be information out on the subject in the next few months.
