Enhance campus shared governance and transparency
- Effectively engage faculty, students, and staff in planning and decision-making processes
- Increase transparency and communications surrounding planning, budget processes, and outcomes
Enhance collaboration, cooperation and communication across campus
- Enhance planning and communication across divisions
- Strengthen cross-divisional and program communication; create and sustain meaningful collaborations
Encourage and support the professional development and engagement of faculty and staff
- Provide professional training and career development, including leadership development
- Identify human resource and compensation issues for faculty and staff
Increase the efficiency of the University's operations
- Strengthen institutional administrative process improvement
- Conduct annual reviews of administrative functions
- Improve space utilization to maximize resource use
- Review and implement space allocations to create synergy among academic disciplines and within administrative units
Create a service-oriented campus culture in all units
- Improve customer service based on input from internal and external customers
- Institute recognition and incentives for faculty and staff delivering high quality service
Be responsible stewards of our resources - physical, financial and technological
- Develop and employ reporting tools for academic and administrative analytics
- Continue improvement of departmental and financial administration
- Enhance the effectiveness of research administration and policies
