Student Leadership and Involvement
Involved

Why should I be involved?

We asked students, here at the University of Memphis why they are involved on campus...here is what they said!

  • To accept others and their differences
  • To learn and grow from the mistakes
  • You learn how to handle stress
  • Time management
  • There’s always room for improvement and to learn
  • Proffesionalsim
  • How to work with people that aren’t like me
  • Communication

Join a student organization, participate in leadership training, perform community service, attend on-campus programs, GET INVOLVED!

Where do I start?

Each year a Student Involvement Fair is held each Fall semester on the first Monday of classes - immediately following convocation. Many student organizations and volunteer agencies are represented, and attending this event is a great way to kick-start your college experience! A slightly smaller version of the Student Involvement Fair will be held on the first Wednesday of Spring semester.
