client problems, and a comprehensive approach to the range of client systems.
The Program prepares entry-level social workers for competency in a wide variety of
problem areas, across a wide range of client systems, across diverse populations and
using a broad theoretical base for practice, encompasses a comprehensive theoretical
perspective as a foundation to explore the various systems that influence client's
lives and to pursue additional areas of knowledge that will facilitate serving clients'
needs.
The generalize perspective includes general systems theory and the ecological model,
the general problem-solving mode, crisis intervention, family systems, feminist social
work case management, research and evaluation, and policy and organizational analysis.
